It was a beautiful summer wedding day at Larchmont Yacht Club wedding venue. I am so excited to be a New York wedding photographer for Dana and Reese today in the town of Mamaroneck in Westchester County. The sun’s rays beam against my face from afar as I make my way through the docked yachts at the harbor. Seagulls flew around in the distance as I breathed in the salty sea air and heard the waves of water crash inland. The weather was perfect for a yacht club summer wedding day!
Inside Yacht Club Wedding Venue’s Bridal Suite
As make my way upstairs to the bridal suite at this yacht club wedding venue, I can already hear soft murmurings from a distance. I walk into the bridal suite with all the bridesmaids welcoming me, all scattered throughout the room. It was a calming and positive day for the girls as they got their hair and makeup done. We start the beginning half of the wedding day with Dana’s getting ready details from her invitation cards showcasing the beautiful blue color palette Dana picked to just the bride with her wedding gown. Every moment was elegant and picture-perfect.
First Look With Bridesmaid Inside Yacht Club Wedding Venue
Dana decided to do a first-look dress reveal with her bridesmaid and it was so emotional to witness! It was a great moment with the classy wooden golf club architecture as the backdrop. As I continued to photograph this special moment, I could see how special their relationships were with Dana. The support and tears in the room were evident as Dana walked closer to the girls as a bride-to-be.
First Look Outside of Yacht Club Wedding Venue
And now, it’s time to head out to the scenic yacht water view for the first look with the groom. As Reese stood near the dock, looking out in the waterview, Dana slowly approached him from behind. Reese’s reaction when he sees Dana’s wedding outfit for the yacht club wedding day is extremely emotional and intimate to capture. I can see all the different emotions flooding through the groom’s face – surprise, happiness, adoration. This private moment between the bride and groom is such an intimate part of the day. I will always love photographing first looks as a wedding photographer in New York.
Outdoor Wedding Portraits With Yacht Club Water View
After this special moment, we moved on to the next part of the day – wedding portraits of the bride and groom. The beautiful water backdrop at this yacht club wedding venue was stunning to be in front of. As Dana and Reese stroll along the venue, I am captivated by the romance and elegance that I see in my camera frames. It brings me absolute joy to capture such timeless moments as a wedding photographer in New York. Pictures that will stay with the bride and groom forever. We pulled in the wedding party after the wedding portrait session. We finished photographing the group just in time to head out to the wedding ceremony.

Church Ceremony in Larchmont, New York
Today’s wedding ceremony will be at Saint Augustine’s Church in Larchmont, New York. We took the trolley over and made our way into the church. Wedding guests made their way into the church, ready for a beautiful ceremony for Dana and Reese. I was stunned as Dana walked down the aisle with her parents, heading straight into the arms of her soon-to-husband.
Congratulations, Dana and Reese! I am so happy for you both at such a beautiful wedding ceremony in Larchmont, New York!
Outdoor Tent Reception at Larchmont Yacht Club
Briefly, after, we head back to Larchmont Yacht Club for cocktail hour and wedding reception. Everyone was ready for the second half of the wedding day! The wedding reception was at an outdoor tent filled with all of Dana’s favorite colors – blue. It was complemented beautifully by the light wooden colors that were placed under the tent. As the weather for this summer wedding day cools, an outdoor reception was the perfect way to end the night.
It’s time for people to trickle from the outdoor cocktail area to the tent! I love how the musicians from the wedding band guided this. As everyone follows Dana and Reese under the tent, excitement trickles throughout the guests. Here comes Dana and Reese’s first dance!
What a day! I loved some of the sunset photos that we were able to photograph. It was the perfect way to end the night as the beautiful purple and light blue skies set behind the bride and groom. The waterview reflecting these colors at this yacht club wedding venue makes everything look extra romantic and I love it!
