Central Park, New York City
It was a beautiful warm spring day for a whimsical engagement session at NYC Central Park. I love photographing romance in New York City, especially at an iconic landmark for my couples. There are so many breathtaking scenic views and I am so excited to be Sonali and Toby’s New York City engagement photographer.
Couple Session at Bethesda Fountain, Central Park
We start our engagement couple shoot at the Bethesda Fountain. This circular fountain has a stunning backdrop of an angel with perfect waterfalls coming down on all sides. It was extremely festive on this beautiful day as New Yorkers took advantage of the beautiful weather at this NYC public park. Chatters surrounded us as families and dog walkers strolled past us. It was a beautiful sight and I enjoyed photographing every moment of Sonali and Toby at this NYC park.

Next, we walked over to the Bethesda Terrace and did a quick outfit change for the next part of the engagement shoot. The iconic arches made these engagement photos so much more romantic. It has a darker atmosphere but the couple’s photos are just as whimsical and romantic. We had such a fun time dancing and walking in this area as we heard a musician playing romantic music nearby.
After we finished photographing at the Bethesda Terrace, we walked around and strolled our way to the Bethesda steps. We took a variety of photos in this area as we made our way up and down the stairs. It was so romantic and perfect on this sunny spring day.

Romantic Spring Couple Session at The Bow Bridge
After another outfit change, we walked over to the Bow Bridge. It was such a breathtaking view as the sun started to set for this part of the NYC engagement session. The water backdrop under the bridge was perfectly reflecting the green trees surrounding this park. Birds were chirping in the background as many people walked through this bridge. It is definitely one of my favorite spots to photograph in Central Park for engagement sessions.

Lastly, we made our way to a private area in Central Park where we were closer to the lake. The iconic El Dorado twin tower building stands out behind the couple as the perfect backdrop. Sonali and Toby had a very intimate moment together in this secluded area. These last few moments gave them a chance to unwind and share a moment. It was the perfect day to have an engagement session in NYC and I can’t wait to photograph Sonali and Toby’s wedding soon!
