The Ashford Estate, A Luxurious New Jersey Wedding Venue
It was a spring wedding day at the grand Ashford Estate, a northern NJ wedding in Allentown. Both the bride and groom were getting ready separately at a hotel and the plan was to do the wedding ceremony at the church that Andrea grew up with. I walked into the hotel suite where Andrea was getting ready with her bridesmaid. Although it was raining outside, I could tell that it didn’t dim anyone’s excitement for the big day. Waves of laughter echoed throughout the room. Soft music was playing in the background as the girls finished their makeup and hair. I am so excited to share Andrea and Dan’s beautiful Ashford Estate wedding day!

After that, we went upstairs with Andrea and her mom. Andrea opened a gift that Dan put together for her. Her shock and happy reactions were such a beautiful moment to photograph as a New Jersey wedding photographer. I love seeing these gift exchange moments and the thoughtfulness between the soon-to-be wife and husband. Since Andrea and Dan aren’t doing a first look today, this gift exchange creates a level of comfort that shows how they’re still there for each other. It is a sweet gesture that I love to photograph as their NJ wedding photographer.
I felt Andrea’s excitement while her mom helped put on her lacy wedding dress. As she stepped into her white lacy wedding gown, it became a beautiful moment shared between the two. They smiled at each other while the bride’s mom held back tears. It was her little girl finally getting into her next life stage. After this moment, we headed downstairs to do a first look with the bridesmaids. As Andrea makes her way in front of the group, cheers and applauses envelop the room. The love and excitement in the hotel’s lobby was obvious and everyone couldn’t wait to head over to church for the wedding ceremony.

The church wedding ceremony is finally here! Since Andrea and Dan didn’t have a first look, it makes walking down the aisle an extra special moment. As a New Jersey wedding photographer, although I always recommend a first-look moment before the ceremony, I also love capturing these raw moments. I watched as Dan’s smile broke out staring at his wife-to-be walking down the church with her dad.

We make our way to the Ashford Estate wedding venue located in Allentown, New Jersey. It was mesmerizing to capture Andrea and Dan’s Ashford Estate photos as we made our way throughout the venue. This country estate had endless breathtaking options and backdrops. Even though it was still slightly drizzling, it didn’t stop us from capturing outdoor portraits! We make our way through this New Jersey wedding venue’s outdoor patio and into the Barn Chapel for more portraits with both just the bride and groom and the bridal party.

The Ashford Estate Indoor Wedding Reception
I love photographing at Ashford Estate’s Grand Ballroom for this whimsical wedding day. The architectural columns that are connected with an arch-like ceiling are always mesmerizing to look at. Large chandeliers are hung throughout this grandiose and luxury country estate’s ballroom. As Andrea and Dan stepped into the ballroom for their first dance, I was blown away by the romance that the wedding reception created for them. It was stunning to watch them unwind their special day with a special dance.
Huge congratulations to Andrea and Dan! Despite the rain, we all had a wonderful time for such a special day. It was amazing to capture such a whimsical and elegant Ashford Estate wedding as a NJ wedding photographer!
