I step onto the sandy shores of Tokeneke Club, a clubhouse wedding venue located in Darien, CT. It was a beautiful hot summer day with clear and endless blue skies. I’m stunned by the dazzling scene in front of me as I hear the gentle waves of the glistening blue ocean crashing in perfect harmony with the golden sand serving as an exquisite stage. The peaceful and calming atmosphere makes it the perfect day for a private beach wedding! Getting married on the beach is such picture-perfect scenery to capture as an East Coast wedding photographer. It’s just like capturing a love story woven into the fabric of nature’s most breathtaking canvas!
Against this picturesque setting at the beach side wedding venue, Morgan and Adam continue to radiate excitement and anticipation throughout the day for their private beach ceremony. From Morgan’s sweet first look with her bridesmaids to Morgan walking down the aisle during the beach ceremony, every frame was super stunning to capture. I could feel the two souls coming together amidst the timeless beauty of the sea and sand focusing on them with my camera lens. As I snapped my portraits away throughout this summer wedding day, I knew that deep down, it would be one of my favorite beachfront weddings for a very long time. This first look with Morgan’s bridesmaid was so touching and sweet to capture as a wedding photographer! The bride’s dress was hidden inside the closet the entire day and this was the first time everyone’s seen her in it. As she took a few more steps into the circle, everyone jumped in excitement. It was so beautiful to see all the tears that were shed. Her dress was better than everyone’s ever imagined and fit Morgan just perfectly.
