I stared at the picturesque golf club wedding venue as I stepped onto the Old Westbury Golf and Country Club as Alix and Brandon’s New York wedding photographer. I took a moment to admire the sprawling green fairways and majestic trees from afar at this country club. The backdrop was stunning and it was peaceful to be away from the bustling city, especially as a NYC wedding photographer. I love the different sceneries that I get to capture throughout the New York area and am so happy to be part of Alix and Brandon’s summer wedding day!
Bridal Suite Inside Old Westbury Golf and Country Club
The bridal suite at the Old Westbury wedding venue buzzes with excitement and anticipation on the wedding day. As the morning sun casts a warm glow through the windows, I photograph the love that is present in the room. The bride is surrounded by her closest friends and family and it created the best getting-ready moments. I was captivated by every getting ready moment starting from Alix putting on her elegant satin white wedding gown to her reading a letter from the groom. Every moment was so touching to capture and I am so happy to be able to capture every part of it.
First Look Outside Old Westbury Golf and Country Club
The first look with the groom was such a beautiful moment. The bride and groom had their intimate moment with the endless hills of the country club and clear open skies behind them. As Brandon started to tear up staring at Alix’s dress and letting the moment sink in, I could feel the happiness exuded from both of them. The wedding ceremony was a few hours away it never felt real until the first look moment. I love witnessing the moment the realization sinks in. It’s such a memorable moment and I will never be sick of capturing it as a New York wedding photographer.

After Alix and Brandon shared their first look moment, we moved on to taking stunning wedding portraits. We made our way through the beautiful Old Westbury Golf & Country Club wedding venue. I love all the elegant and timeless wedding portraits captured at this Old Westbury wedding venue! Then, we grabbed Alix and Brandon’s closest friends who were part of the wedding party for some group photos. It was so fun to add them to the mix and is a great contrast of emotion!

Wedding Ceremony Outside Country Club Wedding Venue
Now, it is time for the wedding ceremony! The morning flew by so fast as Alix and Brandon took their places at the wedding altar at this outdoor golf club wedding venue. The floral centerpieces engulfed them perfectly as they listened to the Rabi. This wedding ceremony was a Jewish ceremony that followed several traditions. One of the most popular things you can never forget is the groom stomping on the glass! Cheers echoed throughout the Old Westbury wedding venue as Brandon did just that.

Sunset Photos at Old Westbury Wedding Venue
As a New York wedding photographer, I can never leave without taking some sunset photos! We grabbed Alix and Brandon out to the country club scenery as the sun set and it was just stunning! The orange glow behind the bride and groom was magical to witness as I photographed them. The purple and orange hues started coming out in the background, creating romantic wedding photos for the bride and groom. I will always love capturing sunset photos because of how angelic and romantic they can be!
Indoor Reception at Old Westbury Golf and Country Club
And finally, it’s time for the first dance between the bride and groom! As the bride and groom enter the ballroom in this Old Westbury wedding venue, all their friends and families loudly cheered. They whispered to each other and swayed to their first dance song. After such a long day, I could see that they were ready to dance the night away.
