Central Park, NYC
There are many options for engagement photos in NYC. One of my favorite places to capture as a NYC engagement photographer is Central Park. It is one of the largest parks in the city with so many attractions, people, and activities at all times. The morning with Lynette and Wouter on a sunny spring day was extremely peaceful. We got there before the park got too crowded but was still lively enough to see atheletes running by and other couples doing their morning walk. I loved the atmosphere and it was just the perfect time for Lynette and Wouter’s engagement session! We started our session in front of Central Park’s Boathouse’s water scenery. The waterview was stunning as the sun starts to rise higher and the glowy sun is reflected in the water throughout the shoot. The sweet scent of flowers and the rhythmic chirping of birds swept through the air.
Then, we took in the two architectural structures at the heart of Central Park, starting with the Bethesda Fountain, also known as the Angel of the Waters statue. It was breathtaking to capture the sweet moments between Lynette and Wouter with the melodic background splashes from the fountain. After staying there for a couple of moments, we, of course, had to go through the Bethesda Terrace. The intricate carvings inside the sandstone walls create such an elegant backdrop for this NYC engagement portrait session. After we explored this iconic structure, our engagement photo session ended at the Bow Bridge. It was a very romantic engagement session and the pictures were so dreamy and magical!! The view and the backdrop will never get old for me as a NYC engagement photographer!
