We began Sonali and Toby’s engagement session at the iconic Bethesda Fountain in Central Park, one of the most sought-after locations for engagement photos in New York City. As a NYC engagement photographer, I’m always inspired by the fountain’s grand circular design and the breathtaking Angel of the Waters statue, framed by cascading waterfalls on every side. On this beautiful day, Central Park buzzed with life as New Yorkers, families, and dog walkers filled the park, adding a lively yet romantic energy to the scene. The joyful atmosphere, combined with the timeless architecture of Bethesda Fountain, created the perfect setting for authentic, candid moments - making it a true pleasure to photograph their love in the heart of NYC.

NYC Engagement Sessions
We began this Upper East Side engagement session at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, one of New York City’s most iconic landmarks and a timeless starting point for engagement photos in NYC. As a NYC engagement photographer, I love capturing couples as they stroll along Museum Mile, allowing the elegance of the Upper East Side to naturally frame their connection. Julia and Brian were the sweetest New Yorker couple, and it was a wonderful time capturing their intimate moments together.
From there, we made our way to Maman Café, a charming café where the NYC couple spent countless meaningful moments together throughout their relationship. This just adds a deeply personal layer to their engagement photos. As an engagement photographer in New York City, I always recommend including a location that has a lot of meaning to make the photos extra special.
We ended the session at a nearby park along the pier, where open skies and a sweeping water-and-skyline backdrop created a romantic, cinematic finish - perfect for capturing authentic, editorial-style engagement photos in New York City.
