An Elegant Fall New York City Public Library Engagement Session

New York City Public Library, Manhattan, NYC

It was a beautiful fall day for a romantic and elegant engagement session at the New York City Public Library. As a NYC engagement photographer, I love photographing at this location because of the beautiful architecture and grand steps that make the couple’s photos timeless and magical. I was so excited about a fun engagement session with Marvie and Aaron!

Couple Photos at New York City Public Library

As we walked past the bustling city of people and onto the steps of this NY Public Library, I had them stand against the light-color arches of the library’s doorway as the backdrop. The crisp air fills up around us as the couple laughs intimately with each other, ignoring everything else around us. Their smiles are so contagious as they continue to enjoy each other’s presence. My photography style comprises a mix of candids and posed photos. I always make sure the couple is having fun and enjoying the moment. Everything else comes naturally and it is always so fun to see them get comfortable in front of the camera throughout the engagement session.

NY Public Library Engagement Session on the Library Steps

After the library arches, I moved the couple to the iconic library steps. The warm light of the season dances off the library’s grand architecture, creating soft, romantic tones in every shot. Between the timeless beauty of the library and the vibrant fall colors, it’s the perfect blend of New York energy and the deep connection shared by the couple, captured in every frame.
