Gran Centurion, Clark, NJ
It was a beautiful summer day for a Gran Centurion wedding located in northern NJ. The sun was shining brightly through the clear blue skies. I was engulfed by greenery trees with can hear the birds chirping above my head. I am so excited and honored to be a New Jersey wedding photographer for Melanie and JeanPierre. They got engaged during the pandemic and have been waiting for the perfect time to get married. All the waiting has come down to this perfect day and I already knew it was going to be a beautiful wedding day.
Gran Centurion Wedding
I felt the slight breeze swift past me as I stood outside of the bride’s getting ready location. It was the home that she’d been living with her soon-to-be husband, making it more meaningful as she got ready for her big wedding day. I smile as I enter the front doors of her New Brunswick home.

Melanie was getting her hair and makeup done as I walked into the room. She was surrounded by her bridesmaids and family members while soft music played in the background. The love and support in the room were amazing. This is why I love being a wedding photographer in New Jersey. I make all these genuine moments timeless so people can cherish these memories forever. As the bride continues getting ready for the big day, I start capturing all her details. Her wedding color theme was sage green and blue, creating a beautiful combination through her invitations.
NJ Bride Getting Ready
As the bride finished getting her hair and makeup done, I set her up for some bridal portraits. It was a beautiful getting-ready room. From her lacy white wedding dress to her wedding heels, her bridal style suited her perfectly.

The moments with her mom as she got her dress on were very touching. Her bridesmaids were all in the room as this happened. All the murmurs and attention made every authentic moment meaningful. I could feel Melanie’s happiness and anticipation as she finished putting on the last of her pieces of jewelry. Her excitement was written on her face as she got onto her wedding bus to head over to the church.

New Jersey Groom Getting Ready
As I step into the groom’s getting ready, I can feel JeanPierre’s slight nervousness as he jitters around the room. Jeanpierre was surrounded by this groomsman as he put on his dark green suit. It was a unique groom-style wedding outfit and it worked perfectly for him. His wedding suit fit him perfectly with his dark brown wedding shoes. As he finished putting everything on, I could see a shift in his emotions with an increasing excitement. After a few moments with his groomsmen, we are all ready to head to the church.

Wedding Ceremony in Northern NJ
Melanie and Jeanpierre were getting married at Guardian Angel and St. Columba Church, a historic Roman Catholic parish church located in Newark, New Jersey. It had an Italian Renaissance architectural structure, built with so much history and background. Its grandeur structure, combined with outdoor domes, was stunning.

This moment is finally here. Melanie walks down the aisle with her father with a full smile as she sees Jeanpierre for the first time on their wedding day. Even though they didn’t have a first look, this moment was just as perfect with the grand entrance. It was a beautiful moment to capture as a wedding photographer in New Jersey with all the raw emotions shared between the two.

The feeling that he was walking down the aisle soon started to sink. It was amazing to see all the different types of emotions for this Gran Centurion wedding day. A New Jersey wedding photographer witnesses it all, especially on such a special day of your life. All the raw emotions are in full display and I couldn’t help but enjoy every frame of this.

Congratulations, Melanie and JeanPierre! After they did their bubble exit, I pulled them aside for some newly wedding couple portraits. We stayed outside of this special Roman Catholic church for a few more moments before heading over to the NJ wedding venue.

I love capturing all the romantic moments shared between the couple. Whether these moments are authentic or posed, it is always amazing to have a combination. As we got towards the later part of the evening and the weather started to cool, it was the perfect time to photograph them together. They finally get a moment to themselves and share their emotions intimately. It was so fun to witness their loving stares and capture their raw emotions.
