It was a beautiful summer day for a Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club wedding in northern, NJ. The moment I step onto the beautifully landscaped drive, the English Manor immediately draws my eyes. The vibrant colors at this country club wedding venue with a beautifully structured bridge make the perfect backdrop for this golf course venue. I walked through the luxurious clubhouse and was greeted by stunning views of the Lamington River. This sight was mesmerizing and I am so happy to be here to document a Fiddler’s Elbow wedding at this NJ wedding venue for Gina and Alex!
Wedding Getting Ready at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club
Waves of chatter and laughter from the bride and bridesmaids greeted me as I walked into the bridal suite to start this northern New Jersey wedding day. The bride, Gina, and her bridesmaid were all getting their makeup and hair done. I could already feel the love and support that was coming from this country club bridal suite. I smile as I take in the room and start the day with details. As a New Jersey wedding photographer, I always photograph wedding details – from the wedding ring bands to the blue-themed wedding invitations that Gina has put together. I photographed the mix-and-match theme for her bridal party with their floral bridesmaid dresses. These details are critical to tell the Fiddler’s Country Club wedding story and I am so excited to photograph this elegant summer wedding day!
After I finish the bride’s getting ready moments, I make my way to the groom and the groomsmen’s wedding suite for this golf course wedding venue. They were enjoying their time with a few games of poker before the start of the summer wedding day. I have the groom start getting dressed with his two siblings as the best man. His tailored-black wedding suit fit him perfectly. I could visibly see his excitement as he dressed while his best man accompanied him.
First Look for a Fiddler’s Elbow Wedding
After the bride and groom both got ready, we went outside to the golf course for an outdoor first look. We positioned Alex facing toward the beautiful bridge leading to the golf course while Gina walked towards him. It was so romantic to see Alex’s face lit up as he took in his NJ bride’s wedding outfit for the first time. Gina has a perfectly fitted grand satin wedding dress with a slit around her knees. I can see the joy shared between the two. We document the intimate private moment of this Fiddler’s Elbow wedding before moving on to their wedding portraits.
Fiddler’s Elbow Wedding Photos
After sharing a moment together, we got on a golf cart and made our way around the Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club. It was such a romantic scenery – from the candid moments of them walking through the golf course wedding venue to posed positions in front of the elegant architecture of the clubhouse. The rolling green landscapes and blooming gardens of the clubhouse create a luxurious backdrop for their outdoor wedding portraits. I am obsessed with these timeless wedding portraits at the New Jersey golf course wedding venue.
Wedding Party Photos at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club
After the wedding portraits, we headed back to the Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club for the wedding party photos. We positioned the bridesmaids and groomsmen in front of the country club’s architecture as the luxurious backdrop. The club and the sun make the wedding party photos magical. Once the wedding party photos were done, we hid them away until the ceremony.
Outdoor Ceremony at NJ Wedding Venue
And now, it’s time for a beautiful outdoor ceremony. The ceremony space was at the back of the golf course wedding venue, surrounded by perfectly positioned florals. The mixed floral arch elegantly centered the altar. The lush golf course and golden light from the sun starting to break through the clouds was the perfect backdrop as Alex and Gina exchanged their vows. It was so touching and emotional to see how big this moment was for them. Their closest friends and families couldn’t stop crying as well. The glow from the golden hour light made the ceremony so magical.

Reception at NJ Wedding Venue
It was time for the reception for Gina and Alex’s first dance as husband and wife! The reception was in Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club’s grand ballroom with its floor-to-ceiling windows that had an elegant charm to it, from its restored fireplaces and chandeliers to sunset views that paint the sky in rich hues, perfect for golden-hour portraits. Throughout the reception, I document the heartfelt speeches, lively dancing, their cake-cutting moment, and all the unforgettable moments. Fiddler’s Elbow’s mix of classic elegance and serene nature reflects the energy, love, and joy of the couple’s perfect summer wedding day.
