Summer Wedding Day at Clarks Landing Yacht Club Wedding Venue

Clarks Landing Yacht Club, Point Pleasant, New Jersey

It was a radiant summer day for a Clarks Landing Yacht Club wedding at Point Pleasant, New Jersey. I walked through the quiet neighborhood at the heart of Point Pleasant in the morning. As I approached the groom’s home surrounded by beautiful greeneries, I heard soft voices humming and buzzing with excitement. I step into the groom’s beautiful home styled with hints of Scandinavian style. The sunlight streams lit up the room with a warm glowing cast from the windows. I am so excited and honored to be a Point Pleasant wedding photographer in New Jersey.

Groom Details in Point Pleasant, New Jersey

I find the groom, Joey, surrounded by most of his closest friends and family members. I let him embrace the love and support as I photographed some of the wedding details. His groom’s style was chic and classy. It is always amazing to see how all the small items can bring together the groom’s outfit so perfectly.

Groom Getting Ready

After photographing all the groom’s details, I start photographing Joey’s getting-ready moments with his best man and mother. I could feel the mixture of anticipation and joy as they started fixing his bow tie. His best man placed his watch and wedding cufflinks perfectly before moving on to the groom’s black wedding tux. This carefully chosen and tailored tux fit him perfectly. Finally, after putting on his black wedding shoes, we were ready for the first look!

We hopped onto a wedding trolley and made our way to the bride’s beach house on the other side of Point Pleasant. When we arrived, the bride was getting her last few bridal portraits with her girls before coming downstairs for the first look.

Point Pleasant First Look

The first look is my favorite moment to photograph between the bride and groom as a New Jersey wedding photographer. It is an intimate moment with your significant other before a long hectic day filled with people. The raw connection shared between the two was special.

Morgan and Joey’s love story began a long time ago. Morgan was best friends with Joey’s older sister, Lindsay. Morgan’s lake house served as a beautiful backdrop for their couple’s portraits. The light breeze throughout the bride and groom portraits was perfect throughout the bride and groom photo session. The waterview as the yacht gently rowed back and forth on this summer day made these photos romantic and peaceful.

Wedding Ceremony at Clarks Landing Yacht Club

After the first look and family photos, we make our way to the Clarks Landing Yacht Club wedding venue with the trolley.

It was a stunning and luxurious wedding venue when we arrived. The marina sparkles with the reflection of the sunlight dancing on the water. Meanwhile, the elegant venue is surrounded by lush floral arrangements and delicate white draperies. The wedding guests are ushered into this indoor wedding venue space as this luxury New Jersey wedding ceremony gets closer.

It was stunning to photograph the bride walking through the Clarks Landing Yacht Club ceremony space with her dad. I photographed her father passing her off to her soon-to-be husband. I captured their ceremony moments as they stood at the altar with the glistening ocean as their backdrop. It was a timeless and luxurious scene that captured the essence of a perfect yacht club summer wedding.

Huge congratulations to Morgan and Joey!

Indoor Wedding Reception Details at Clarks Landing

I walked through the grand ballroom where this yacht club wedding venue reception was taking place. I smiled as I saw the room all filled with beautiful white and green flowers.

First Dance at Yacht Club Wedding Venue

Morgan and Joey’s entrance to the dance floor as husband and wife was special and fun to photograph. They had a romantic dance in front of the Clarks Landing indoor reception. It was a beautiful sight to see the love they share.

Sunset Photos at Clarks Landing Yacht Club

Before the night ended, we had to grab the bride and groom for one more sunset portrait session. The light purple and blue skies made the perfect backdrop for the couple. The expansive deck creates a breathtaking view of the marina, where boats sway gently in the sparkling water. The picturesque landscape behind them highlights the luxurious wedding venue. It was a picture-perfect moment.

I am so happy for you both, Morgan and Joey! Huge congratulations again!
