The Box House Hotel, Brooklyn Wedding Venue, NYC
It was a beautiful fall wedding day in New York City. We traveled from the St. John Nepomucene Church in Manhattan for the wedding ceremony to the event venue in Brooklyn. As a Brooklyn wedding photographer, I fully enjoyed every moment of this special day in the city.
I got stunning groom portraits from Michael’s getting-ready moments in the morning at his apartment in Midtown, New York. But my favorites were the portraits in front of the pristine white backdrop of the iconic New York Public Library’s grand entrance! The grandeur of the library’s facade serves as a striking contrast to the intimacy shared by Julie and Michael. The clean lines and classical architecture of the library create a sense of refinement and sophistication. Every pose radiate with the promise of forever between Julie and Michael, amplifying the romance in the air. It was breathtaking to photograph at one of the world’s most iconic landmarks as a Brooklyn wedding photographer.
After some stunning portraits at the New York Public Library, we traveled to the Box House Hotel for a classy wedding reception at one of the event venues in Brooklyn. This Brooklyn wedding venue exerted a mixture of modern elegance and urban charm. As I step into the hotel’s chic and eclectic space, the backdrop of exposed brick walls, steel beams, and avant-garde décor engulfs me. From the rooftop with panoramic views of the city skyline to the cozy nooks adorned with vintage furnishings, every setting offers a unique backdrop for capturing Julie and Michael’s love story. This city wedding day was undeniably magical as we ended the night at one of the grandest wedding event venues in Brooklyn!

New York Public Library Wedding Portraits
I have photographed at many locations in New York City as an engagement photographer and wedding photographer. Each spot has its unique vibe and style. But, this spot will always be one of my favorite wedding and engagement photo locations in NYC. It’s classy, elegant, and timeless with such a great architecture of the NYPL in the backdrop!
The Box House Hotel, Brooklyn Wedding Venue
I was excited to shoot at this wedding reception in Brooklyn since I’d never been here before as a Brooklyn wedding photographer. I was amazed by how city-like it felt even from the outside. We took many portraits outside the event venue and on the venue’s rooftop. It was romantic and elegant with Julie and Michael while they practiced their first dance in private and swayed around the rooftop in front of the beautiful background. This is one of the perks of being a Brooklyn wedding photographer – capturing amazing views of the city skylines.
Wedding Reception At Brooklyn Wedding Venue
The wedding reception will be held at the rooftop as well. This means more pictures for the guests against this beautiful skyscraper view! I loved Julie’s color palette with the nude, light color!
