I walked through the rustic wooden entrance of Bear Brook Valley wedding venue for an NJ vineyard wedding located in northern New Jersey. It was a crisp fall day and the air was tinged with the earthy scent of fallen leaves. The vibrant autumn hues painted the landscape with warm oranges, deep reds, and golden yellows. It felt like a fairytale to be at this upscale vineyard wedding venue. Even though there was a slight drizzle, I already knew it would be a wonderful wedding day. It is a true honor to be part of Brianna and Alex’s special day and as their New Jersey wedding photographer!
The Bridal Suite at Bear Brook Valley
I stepped into the stunning bridal suite where a chandelier hangs above the wood-covered ceiling. Soft natural light streamed through the large windows. A gentle bright natural glow hovered over the room with delicate fall theme floral arrangements scattered across a dining table. The bride and bridesmaids’ excitement was obvious as gentle chatter and sounds of laughter filled the air.
I started my day photographing Brianna getting ready. This starts with her final touch-up moments with her hair and makeup. I photographed the tender moments shared between the bride, her closest friends, and especially with her young niece. The beauty of the season, the warmth of friendship, and the promise of love were so evident. Being part of these magical moments at this NJ vineyard wedding venue as a wedding photographer was just so captivating.
Bride and Bridesmaid’s Getting Ready
It was so fun to capture how the bride and the rest of the girls interacted with each other while they moved on with their day! Brianna’s niece was truly the highlight of the room as they played with her continuously throughout the morning. At one point, they were all dancing and jamming to Taylor Swift songs together. I just love the joy and excitement in the room despite the gloomy weather outside!
And of course, you can’t finish getting ready without a selfie with the girls!

And now, it is time for some bride-getting-ready portraits! I love capturing this part of the day, especially with just a few moments with the bride and her hand-picked wedding dress. Brianna’s lacy, elegant, backless dress was absolutely stunning on her as her sister helped put it on for her. Her mom was also at her side and helping put on her wedding shoes. I adored every special moment shared between her and her closest family.
From putting on Brianna’s dress with her sister to getting her shoes on with her mom, every moment was just so sweet and captivating to capture in this northern New Jersey wedding venue’s bridal suite!

Bridesmaid’s First Look At Bear Brook Valley’s Bridal Suite
After getting some stunning portrait shots of the bride in her wedding dress, it was time for the first looks! We hid Brianna behind the curtains while all her bridesmaids waited in the center of the bridal suite. On the count to 3, Brianna walks in with the big dress reveal! This is the first time her bridesmaids have ever seen her wearing the dress and there was just so much emotion in the room!

And now, it was time for the best part of the day – the first look with the groom, Alex! Alex had been patiently waiting out in the patio. Even with the rain, you can’t tell since there are always areas at the NJ wedding venue that are fully covered for special moments like this. This vineyard wedding venue is perfect if you worry about the weather and want to have options for rainy days!

Brianna and Alex had a few moments to catch up about their getting ready and how their day was going. It was so sweet to see their reactions to each other. It was obvious that they were both so excited for the day! Then, we continued with beautiful and romantic couple portraits at various locations throughout this vineyard wedding venue.

I love the fall color palette that Brianna went with for this fall wedding day! It was sprinkled throughout the day from her bridesmaids’ dress color to her wedding floral centerpieces. The mix of orange, soft pink, and yellow colors with her bouquet was lovely and elegant as she held it for her outdoor portraits!

First Dance At The NJ Wedding Reception
The first dance was fun to capture with Brianna and Alex walking in as husband and wife together for the first time since the wedding ceremony! I love how supportive their wedding party was with their entrance from their supportive expressions to their loud cheers throughout the first dance.
What a wonderful fall wedding day at Bear Brook Valley, a NJ vineyard wedding venue! I loved every moment and it is so fulfilling to witness it all as a New Jersey wedding photographer.
