A Romantic New York City Wedding at Central Park

New York City, Central Park’s Boathouse Wedding Venue

Lindsay and Brian’s New York City wedding began on a stunning summer day at the iconic Plaza Hotel on Fifth Avenue, just steps from Central Park. As a New York City wedding photographer, I felt the anticipation build as golden sunlight reflected off the Manhattan skyline, setting a romantic tone for the day ahead. Inside the luxurious Plaza Hotel bridal suite, the energy of the city softened, allowing for a calm, intimate atmosphere where meaningful moments unfolded. This serene beginning created the perfect foundation for a timeless Central Park wedding in the heart of New York City.

The Plaza Hotel’s Bridal Suite

As a New York City wedding photographer, I step into the grand bridal suite at The Plaza Hotel. I was immediately immersed in soft laughter and heartfelt moments shared between Lindsay and her bridesmaids. One by one, the girls sit for hair and makeup as the room fills with anticipation and joy. Excitement builds with every final touch, while stories, inside jokes, and bursts of laughter reveal the deep love and friendship surrounding the bride. These intimate moments set the tone for the magical celebration ahead, marking the beginning of a truly unforgettable New York City wedding.

Lindsay’s dog was such a great highlight of the getting-ready moments!

Indoor First Look at Plaza Hotel

Lindsay and Brian experienced a deeply romantic first look on the iconic interior staircase of The Plaza Hotel. This is one of Manhattan’s most elegant and timeless wedding locations. As a New York City wedding photographer, I watched anticipation build in the quiet moments before they saw each other. This was going to be the first time that morning. When they finally met, emotion took over as they shared smiles, laughter, and whispered words. They caught up about the day unfolding around them. This intimate pause allowed them to reconnect away from the excitement of the celebration, creating a cinematic and heartfelt first look that perfectly reflected the elegance of their Plaza Hotel wedding in New York City.

Commute to Central Park Boathouse Wedding Venue

We took some beautiful photos near the Boathouse venue and the Bethesda Terrace. Everything felt like it was in slow motion on this fresh summery day.

NYC Wedding Cocktail Details

They absolutely killed it with their first dance and had a cute cake-cutting at the end of the night. It was such a sweet day at such a romantic venue in New York City!

I will never get enough of these types of city weddings. I am so honored to be Lindsay and Brian’s NYC wedding photographer!
